N63TS oil fill capacity increased. Had my first oil change in my 2013 650i GC this past week. My SA tells me that BMW has increased the amount of oil refill in the newer TS version of the N63 from 8 1/2 quarts to 9 1/2 quarts. This was due to the increased oil consumption of the turbo engines that has been drawing a lot of concern from owners.

The 2007 BMW X3 oil type and capacity iS5w30 or 5w40 and 6.9 quarts. Your oil needs to be replaced eventually. Every 5,000 to 10,000 miles is a good rule of thumb. If You don't replace it, there will be issues with the engine. Having high quality oil is important for the engine to run smoothly.
