About 3 months after I purchased my SX500 that front ring came off while I was shooting with a large group. Didn't notice until I tried to snap the lens cap back on. Canon promptly replaced the camera after I sent it in for service but it is now out of warranty. I have a 52mm filter ring - 58mm adapter for the Canon 50mm f1.8 lens used on my T3i.
I have a PowerShot SX500 IS - When I bought it in 2014 (from QVC), I couldn't use the CD-ROM instruction manual (because I have no computer) - I called and Canon sent me a physical printout of the entire instruction manual. - When I moved from Idaho to California, I lost the manual in the moving somehow. Can I have another manual?
